Costco Food Court Hours 2026

Most Costco food courts operate during or close to their warehouse’s regular business hours. A common schedule for U.S. warehouses is shown below.

Day	Common Warehouse/Food Court Hours
Monday	10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Tuesday	10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Wednesday	10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Thursday	10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Friday	10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Saturday	9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday	10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

These times provide a useful general guide, not a guaranteed schedule for every food court. Individual locations can use different hours.

Some warehouses also provide earlier shopping access for Executive Members. That does not always mean every service inside the warehouse, including the food court, starts serving at the same earlier time.

What Time Does Costco Food Court Open?

Many Costco food courts start serving around the time the main warehouse opens.

That commonly means around 10:00 AM Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM Saturday, and 10:00 AM Sunday at many U.S. locations.

However, some food courts may start earlier or later depending on local warehouse operations.

What Time Does Costco Food Court Close?

Many Costco food courts remain open until close to the warehouse’s regular closing time.

A common closing time is around 8:30 PM on weekdays, 7:00 PM on Saturday, and 6:00 PM on Sunday.

Some locations may stop taking certain orders before the warehouse closes, especially large whole-pizza orders.

Are Costco Food Court Hours the Same at Every Location?

No. Costco food court hours can vary between warehouses.

Local demand, staffing, state regulations, warehouse schedules, special events, and holidays can all affect operating times.

Always check the warehouse you plan to visit instead of assuming every Costco follows the same schedule.

Costco Food Court Hours Sunday

Many Costco locations operate around 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday.

Sunday closing time is usually earlier than weekday closing times, so plan evening food orders accordingly.

Arriving shortly before closing may limit your options, especially if you want a whole pizza or another item that takes additional preparation.

Weekend schedules are generally shorter, even though customer traffic can be much higher.

Saturday usually has longer hours than Sunday.

Costco Food Court Saturday Hours

Many warehouses use approximately 9:30 AM–7:00 PM Saturday hours.

Food courts can become extremely busy around noon because Saturday attracts large numbers of shoppers.

Costco Food Court Sunday Hours

Sunday hours commonly run around 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Since the warehouse closes earlier, customers should avoid leaving large food orders until late in the day.

Does Costco Food Court Close Earlier on Weekends?

Usually, yes.

Many warehouses close earlier on Saturday and Sunday than Monday through Friday.

Sunday often has the earliest regular closing time of the week.

Costco Food Court Hours Today

The safest way to find today’s Costco food court hours is to check your specific warehouse.

Do not depend entirely on a national schedule because local hours can change.

How to Check Costco Food Court Hours Near You

Search for your warehouse through Costco’s official warehouse locator or mobile app.

Select the location and review its current operating information. You can also call the warehouse if the food court does not have separate hours listed.

Can Costco Food Court Hours Change by Location?

A warehouse in California may not follow exactly the same service schedule as one in Texas, New York, Florida, or Washington.

Food courts can also use different hours because of local staffing or operational needs.

Holiday schedules deserve special attention because Costco closes its U.S. warehouses on several major holidays.

If the warehouse closes for the entire day, its food court will normally remain closed too.

New Year’s Day
Easter Sunday
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day

Schedules can change, so always confirm the current year’s calendar with your local Costco.

Reduced Food Court Hours Before Major Holidays

Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and days surrounding other major holidays may bring reduced warehouse hours.

Food court service may follow those shorter operating periods.

Costco Food Court Hours vs Warehouse Hours

The food court usually operates on a schedule closely connected with the warehouse.

However, shoppers should not assume every department or service opens and closes at exactly the same time.

Does the Food Court Open When Costco Opens?

Often, yes, or very close to the warehouse opening time.

However, operational differences can cause food service to begin later at some locations.

Does the Food Court Close When Costco Closes?

Many food courts remain available until close to warehouse closing time.

However, certain orders may become unavailable earlier as employees prepare to close the kitchen.

Executive Member Early Shopping Hours and the Food Court

Costco introduced expanded early shopping access for Executive Members at many U.S. warehouses.

At many locations, Executive Members can enter from around 9:00 AM, while regular Gold Star and Business Member shopping begins later.

Do not automatically assume the food court starts full service at 9:00 AM. Early warehouse access and food court operating hours are separate matters and may vary by location.

What Time Does Costco Food Court Stop Serving Food?

There is no universal nationwide last-order time that applies to every Costco food court.

Many locations continue taking orders close to closing, but availability can become limited late in the day.

Can You Order Food Near Closing Time?

You may be able to order individual menu items shortly before closing.

However, arriving earlier gives employees enough time to prepare your food and reduces the chance of an item becoming unavailable.

When Does Costco Stop Taking Pizza Orders?

Whole pizzas take longer to prepare than individual ready-to-serve items.

A food court may stop accepting whole-pizza orders before final closing time, especially during busy periods.

Call your local food court if you need several pizzas or plan to pick up an order near closing.

Best Time to Visit Costco Food Court

The best time depends on whether you value convenience, freshness, or avoiding crowds.

Mid-morning and mid-afternoon often provide a calmer experience than lunch and early evening.

Best Time to Avoid Crowds

Try visiting between approximately 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM or 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on weekdays.

These periods often fall outside the main lunch and dinner rush.

Crowd levels still vary by location.

Costco Food Court Lunch Rush

The lunch rush commonly begins around noon.

Customers shopping during lunch hours can create lines at ordering kiosks and pickup counters.

If you have limited time, try ordering before or after the busiest lunch period.

Costco Food Court Dinner Rush

Food courts can become busy in the late afternoon and early evening.

Shoppers often pick up dinner after completing their warehouse shopping.

Friday evenings can be particularly busy at some warehouses.

Weekday vs Weekend Crowd Levels

Weekdays generally offer a quieter experience.

Saturday and Sunday attract families and customers completing large weekly shopping trips.

If you dislike waiting, weekday mornings or afternoons usually provide a better option.

In 2026, shoppers should generally expect to need an active Costco membership to access and purchase from U.S. Costco food courts.

Costco has strengthened membership verification in recent years.

Can Non-Members Eat at Costco Food Court?

Do not assume that a non-member can simply walk in and purchase food.

Some locations historically allowed easier access, particularly when the food court sat outside the warehouse. Current membership enforcement can vary operationally, so check locally.

Can You Enter Costco Just for the Food Court?

Members can generally visit Costco and use the food court without completing a warehouse shopping trip.

You may need to show or scan your membership card when entering.

Costco Food Court Membership Rules

Costco treats its warehouse services as membership benefits.

Keep your physical or digital membership information available when visiting.

Rules and verification methods can change, so follow the instructions at your specific warehouse.

Costco has made food ordering relatively simple.

Many locations use self-service touchscreen kiosks, while some also accept orders at a counter.

Ordering at the Food Court Kiosk

Choose your items on the touchscreen, complete payment, and collect your receipt or order number.

Employees prepare the order and call or display the number when it is ready.

The exact system varies between warehouses.

Ordering a Whole Costco Pizza

You can order a whole pizza instead of buying individual slices.

Because whole pizzas require preparation time, ordering ahead can save time during busy periods.

Available ordering methods depend on the warehouse and service.

Can You Call Ahead for Costco Pizza?

Many Costco food courts accept advance whole-pizza orders by phone.

Calling ahead can be useful for parties, family meals, or multiple-pizza orders.

Confirm pickup time directly with your food court.

Costco Food Court Menu and Hours

The Costco food court is famous because it combines a small menu with low prices and large portions.

Menu availability can vary by warehouse and change over time.

Is the Full Menu Available All Day?

Core items usually remain available throughout regular service hours.

However, an item can temporarily sell out, and locations may stop preparing certain foods as closing time approaches.

Costco Pizza

Pizza remains one of Costco’s best-known food court choices.

Many U.S. locations offer cheese and pepperoni pizza by the slice or as a whole pie.

A slice commonly costs around $1.99, while a whole pizza is usually around $9.95–$9.99.

Costco Hot Dog and Soda Combo

The famous $1.50 hot dog and soda combo remains one of Costco’s most recognizable deals.

Costco has kept the combo around this price since 1985, making it an important part of the company’s food court identity.

Chicken Bake

The Chicken Bake remains another popular choice.

It combines chicken with cheese and other ingredients inside baked dough, making it a more filling option than a small snack.

Pricing and exact recipe details can change.

Sandwiches and Other Food Items

Costco periodically changes its sandwiches, salads, and limited menu offerings.

One warehouse may offer something another warehouse does not.

Check the menu board when you arrive for the most accurate selection and pricing.

Ice Cream, Sundaes and Drinks

Food courts also sell frozen desserts and drinks.

Dessert flavors rotate more frequently than core items such as the hot dog and pizza.

Costco completed a move back toward Coca-Cola fountain beverages at U.S. food courts after announcing the switch from Pepsi products.

Costco Food Court Prices

Low pricing remains one of the biggest reasons shoppers visit the food court.

Even as restaurant prices have increased, Costco continues to offer several items at comparatively low prices.

How Much Is the Costco Hot Dog Combo?

The famous hot dog and fountain drink combo remains $1.50.

Costco has maintained this price for decades.

It remains one of the cheapest widely available meals offered by a major U.S. retailer.

How Much Does Costco Pizza Cost?

A pizza slice commonly costs $1.99.

A whole 18-inch pizza typically costs around $9.95–$9.99, depending on current pricing and location.

Whole Pizza vs Pizza Slice Prices

Buying a whole pizza can provide better value when feeding several people.

A slice works better when you only want a quick meal after shopping.

Ordering a whole pizza ahead also helps reduce waiting time.

Other Popular Costco Food Court Prices

Prices can change, but many food court items remain below typical fast-food restaurant prices.

Current examples can include chicken bakes, salads, sandwiches, desserts, smoothies, fountain drinks, and cookies.

Check your local menu board because regional differences and menu updates occur.

Costco does not operate its food court like a traditional breakfast restaurant.

Most U.S. food courts do not have a dedicated breakfast menu.

Generally, Costco food courts do not offer a standard breakfast menu.

You should not expect items such as eggs, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, or hash browns at a typical location.

What Is Available When the Food Court Opens?

Once regular food court service begins, customers can generally order from the standard menu.

That can include pizza, hot dogs, chicken bakes, drinks, and other available items.

Costco Food Court Lunch Hours

Costco does not normally have separate lunch hours.

The regular menu remains available through the main service period.

What Time Does Costco Serve Lunch?

Lunch foods become available when regular food court service begins.

At many locations, that means around warehouse opening time.

There is no need to wait until noon to order a pizza or hot dog.

Best Costco Food Court Lunch Options

Popular lunch choices include the hot dog combo, pizza, and Chicken Bake.

Sandwiches and salads may also provide alternatives depending on your local menu.

Costco Food Court Dinner Hours

Costco also does not operate a separate dinner menu.

You can order regular food court items during the evening until service ends or an item becomes unavailable.

How Late Can You Get Dinner at Costco?

On weekdays, many locations remain open until around 8:30 PM.

Weekend closing times are often earlier.

Check your specific warehouse if you plan a late dinner.

Best Time to Order Before Closing

Try ordering at least 30 minutes before closing when possible, particularly if you want a whole pizza.

This is a practical recommendation rather than a nationwide Costco rule.

Costco Food Court Hours Near Me

Searching for Costco food court hours near me is often more useful than relying on a national schedule.

Local warehouse information gives you the best chance of finding accurate hours.

Using Costco’s Warehouse Locator

Costco’s warehouse locator allows you to search by city, state, or ZIP code.

Choose your preferred location and review the warehouse schedule and available services.

Checking Hours Through the Costco App

The Costco mobile app can also help members find warehouse information.

Check your selected location before leaving home, particularly on weekends and holidays.

Calling Your Local Costco Food Court

Calling is one of the best choices when you need confirmation about food court service.

It is particularly helpful for whole-pizza orders, holiday schedules, temporary closures, or late-night pickup questions.

Why Costco Food Court Hours Vary by Location

Costco operates hundreds of warehouses across different markets.

A single nationwide food court schedule would not always work for every warehouse.

Local Warehouse Schedules

Each warehouse serves a different local market.

Local shopping patterns can influence opening hours and staffing.

A high-traffic urban warehouse may have different needs than a smaller location.

Holiday and Special Event Changes

Holidays can shorten normal hours or close the warehouse completely.

Special events and local circumstances may also affect food court operations.

Temporary Closures and Maintenance

Equipment problems, remodeling, staff shortages, or maintenance can temporarily close a food court.

The warehouse itself may remain open even when the food court cannot serve customers.

Costco Food Court Hours in Popular U.S. Cities

Customers often search for hours using a state or city name.

There is no single schedule that covers every warehouse within a state, so always check the individual location.

Costco Food Court Hours in California

California has many Costco warehouses and some high-traffic food courts.

Hours differ between locations, so search using your city or ZIP code.

Costco Food Court Hours in New York

New York Costco locations can have different warehouse schedules.

Confirm your chosen location’s operating hours before traveling.

Costco Food Court Hours in Texas

Texas has numerous Costco locations across large metropolitan areas.

Food court schedules can vary between Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and other cities.

Costco Food Court Hours in Florida

Florida Costco locations generally follow standard warehouse patterns, but local differences remain possible.

Holiday and weekend schedules deserve special attention.

Costco Food Court Hours in Washington

Costco has strong roots in Washington state and operates many warehouses there.

Check the exact warehouse rather than assuming all Washington locations use identical food court hours.

Tips Before Visiting Costco Food Court

A little planning can make your food court visit faster and easier.

This becomes especially useful during weekends and holidays.

Check Local Hours Before Leaving

Check the warehouse schedule before traveling.

This takes only a short time and can prevent an unnecessary trip.

Avoid Peak Shopping Times

Try to avoid the main lunch rush and busy weekend periods.

Mid-morning and mid-afternoon weekday visits often involve shorter waits.

Order Whole Pizzas Ahead When Available

Call ahead if you need a whole pizza, particularly when ordering several pies.

Ask the food court how much preparation time it needs.

Check Holiday Closures

Never assume Costco will open on a major U.S. holiday.

Check before leaving home because several holidays bring complete warehouse closures.

Conclusion

Costco’s food court remains popular because customers can combine a warehouse shopping trip with inexpensive pizza, hot dogs, chicken bakes, desserts, and drinks. Many U.S. locations operate roughly from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM on weekdays, while weekend schedules are usually shorter.

However, those times should serve only as a general guide. Individual warehouses can change schedules, food courts can stop certain orders before closing, and major holidays can bring complete closures. Check your local warehouse before traveling for the most accurate Costco food court hours, especially when visiting on Sundays, holidays, or close to closing time.
